Gregory Ward Cavanaugh, 39, Noblesville, passed away Friday, September 19, 2008 at home. He was born April 25, 1969 in Fostoria, Ohio to Steve and Sharon (Barth) Cavanaugh.
Greg was owner & operator of Cavanaugh Mechanical in Noblesville. He graduated from Noblesville High School in 1987 and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Noblesville. He was also an avid fisherman, hunter, and outdoorsman. Greg enjoyed his family and children.
He is survived by his wife, Julie (Roberts) Cavanaugh of Noblesville; daughter, Emma Mae Cavanaugh (Age 5); son, Cole Joseph Cavanaugh (Age 4); son, Grant Stephen Cavanaugh (Age 1); parents, Steve & Sharon Cavanaugh of Noblesville; sister, Carmen (& Dave) Clift of Noblesville; nieces, McKenzie & Madison Clift of Noblesville; mother-in-law, Ruth Roberts of Noblesville; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Barth of Sycamore, Ohio; paternal grandmother, Ruby Koerper of Columbus, Ohio; uncle Roger (& Kay) Barth of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; uncle Jerry (& Pat) Barth of Sycamore, Ohio; aunt Barb (& Mat) Donalson of Weslaco, Texas; uncle Scott (& Linda) Cavanaugh of Mansfield, Missouri; aunt Sue Cavanaugh of Columbus, Ohio; and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Joe Roberts.
Services will be held at 7:00PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at First United Methodist Church in Noblesville, with Pastor Jack Wolfe officiating. Friends may call Tuesday, September 23, 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the church, prior to the service. Burial will be in Crownland Cemetery.
