Gregory Lee Koons

Gregory Lee Koons, 65, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville.  He was born on August 27, 1954 to the late Ervin and Clara (Hartman) Koons in Fremont, Ohio.

Greg  loved working at Carbo Forge until he became ill at the end of 2014.  He was an avid Sprint car fan and was a driver for a couple of years; racing was a very big part of his life.  Greg was also an Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Koons; and his daughter, Kaite Koons.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Herman Karlovetz Funeral Home, 900 North Street, Fremont, OH 43420 with visitation from 3:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes of Noblesville, Indiana has been entrusted with Greg's care.
