Gregory P. Myers, 62, Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at his residence. He was born July 3, 1947 in Noblesville to Francis and Velva (Bricky) Myers.
Gregory was twice past Master at Clarksville Lodge #118, a member of the Noblesville Masonic Lodge, and the Scottish Rite. He retired from the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local #440 after 30 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a lifetime member of the Vietnam Veterans of America. He also was a member of the Hamilton County Veterans Association. Gregory was a past leader and assistant leader for Boy Scout Troop #183. He also was a member of Noblesville Kiwanis.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Myers; son, Greg Myers II; son, Chris Myers; daughter, Jamie Myers-Keesling; son, Andy Williams; grandchildren, Andrew, Cassie, Samantha, Logan, Darian, Avery, and Morgana; brother, Ed Myers; sister, JaNell Martz; mother-in-law, Lois Thurman; brother-in-law, Jerry Thurman; and many extended family.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, July 13, 2009 at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Noblesville, with Rev. Jeff Buck officiating. Friends may call Sunday, July 12, 2:00 - 5:00PM at Randall and Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
