Harold Stanley Barton

Harold S. Barton, 81, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Harbour Manor in Noblesville.  He was born on February 9, 1938 to Floyd and Rena (Smith) Barton in Loretta, Tennessee.

Harold worked for Firestone Industrial for 42 years. Harold was a member of the Green Valley Church of Christ. He loved his church family and friends, and will be greatly missed by them. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. "Mr. Harold" liked to work in his garden and repair lawn mowers. He played softball with the B&B Construction team, in his younger years.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Kathy (Markus) Barton; daughter, Dr. Gina V. Barton; sister, Elois Solomon; brother, Lelton (Betty) Barton; several nieces, nephews & cousins; many great-nieces and great-nephews; brothers-in-law, James Markus and Charlie (Linda) Markus; and sisters-in-law, Arlene Barton, Mary Andrews, Neva Smith, and Paulette Markus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Delton Barton and sister, Wanda Joyce Bogus.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with Jim Dillinger and Mitchell Haynes officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

The Barton family would like to thank the staff at Harbour Manor and Campassus Hospice for their care of Harold. In place of memorial contributions, the family encourages you to spend more time with family and friends, especially those living alone or in a healthcare facility.
