Harold F. Cherry, 90, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on February 9, 1921 to David and Rose Cherry in Woodbine, New Jersey.
Harold worked as an Engineer for Steris Company. He retired in 1987.
He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville and was also a member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Cherry; two daughters: Karen Cherry LaFrance, and Mallory A. (husband, Clay) Hildreth, both of Noblesville; son, Brian D. Cherry of Beaver Falls, PA; and two grandchildren, Cooper and Kendall Hildreth.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, James LaFrance.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2011, at the Daily Mass Chapel in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, Noblesville, with Father Chris Shocklee officiating. Inurnment will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
