Harvey A. Dunton Jr.
Harvey A. Dunton Jr., 93, of Peru, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Westminster Village North in Indianapolis. He was born on December 18, 1922 to Harvey Dunton and Edna (Thompson) Dunton-Horr in Elkhart, Indiana.
Harvey managed Moore's Hardware & Automotive, and in 1978 became a realtor, retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Fort Wayne Shriners, Moose, Masonic Lodge, Elks, and Eagles, and enjoyed boating.
Harvey is survived by his sons, Larry A. Dunton and Jake (Norma) Dunton; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye B. (Atkins) Dunton; and brothers, Ferris Dunton and Forest Horr.
A private family celebration will be held.
