For the last several years, Darlin lived with and was cared for by her daughter, Cathy and son-in-law Phil.
Darlin's second career was as a baker, where her cheese bread would sell out before it even hit the store shelves. She worked in several bakeries before retiring from Marsh in 1995. Darlin also enjoyed volunteering at St. Vincent DePaul. She loved playing cards, Bingo and Yahtzee. Her true competitive spirit was visible to anyone who played with her. She loved to read and do the daily crossword puzzle in pen.
