Helen Fidrych

Helen Fidrych, 91, of Fishers, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born on April 8, 1923 to Franciszek and Gertruda (Haberstroh) Sosna in Katowice, Slaskie, Poland.
Helen lived in South America for 10 years before coming to U.S. Her two daughters were born in South America. Helen worked as a manager at Sun Beam Electric in Gary, Indiana for 10 years. She loved to sew, cook and travel. Helen would visit family in Germany every year, and would also visit other parts of Europe. She was a member of the Polish National Alliance.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Jerry) Hejnowski; granddaughters, Amber (Jeff) Small, and Erin (Brad) Capstick; grandsons, Kyle Alvarado, and Jason (Katrina) Hejnowski; and great-grandchildren, Aiden & Mackenzie Small, Logan & Max Capstick, and Nathan, Joshua & Jacob Hejnowski.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Alvarado; and two younger sisters, Magda & Maria.
There will be no services.
