Helen Gossard

Helen Gossard, 75, of Cicero, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at her home. She was born on May 26, 1938 to Joseph and Mary (Abel) Montgomery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Helen worked for Coca-Cola before retiring and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She enjoyed her friends, traveling, and family vacations. She loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her husband, William Gossard, whom she married on October 22, 1977; children, Mary Sue (Andrew) Hurrle, Janet Kohne, and Alice (John) Garten; step-son, Brad (Kathy) Gossard; step-daughter, Wendy Gleckler; sister, Mary Ann Ivey; brothers, Joseph (Arletha) Montgomery, and Robert (Diane) Montgomery; grandchildren, Lauren (Travis) Cartmel, Drew & Erin Hurrle, Elizabeth (Chris) Keller, Dustin (Caitlin) Kohne, Cindy Rasmussen, Jacqui, Gillian, Anna, & Sam Gossard; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Aaron, Aleigha, Elsie, Piper, and Marley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim, Earl, and William Montgomery; and sisters, Alice Spears and Ruth Smith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 11, 2014, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 10:30 am until the time of service. Father Adam Mauman will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a children's charity of your choice.
