Helen M. Hershman

Helen M. (Safford) Hershman, 96, Franklin, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2008 at her home in the Franklin United Methodist Community; Franklin, Indiana. She was born January 2, 1912 in Madison County, Indiana to Maud F. Safford and Chauncy A. Safford.
Helen taught at the Fishers Elementary School for over 30 years. She graduated from Ball State and was a member of Walnut Grove Chapel Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was an avid Pacer & Colts fan.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark & Nancy D. Hershman, of Greenwood, IN; daughter, Deanna Kay Hart of Zionsville, IN; 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granchild.
In addition to her parents, She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hershman on Feb. 13, 2002; parents; one brother; and one sister.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, February 15, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville with Reverend Randy Worland presiding. Friends may call Friday, February 15, 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Anderson, Indiana.
