Helen Jeanette Potter Rench, 97, passed away on July 5, 2011, at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville, Indiana. She was born on December 5, 1913, near Peoria, Illinois, to the late Bert & Grace Potter.
She married Raymond M. Rench on March 3, 1934, and they moved in 1955 from Edelstein, IL, to Tipton, IN, to open a John Deere dealership. Ray eventually became the mayor of Tipton for two terms in the 1960's.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband; her siblings, James Potter & Virginia Pierson; her oldest daughter, Shirley Pullen; grandson, Bradley Pullen; & infant great-grandson, Eric Hockey.
Survivors include daughters Marjorie (Art) Hockey of Boca Raton, Florida, and Patricia (Robert) Cloud of Noblesville, Indiana; son-in-law Jerry Pullen of Beverly Hills, Florida; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, & two great-great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation; a private graveside service will be held in Tipton, Indiana, in August.
