Helen Ruggles

Helen L. Ruggles, 87, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at home. She was born on April 25, 1926 to John and Mary (Bernard) Kintz in Decatur, IN.
Helen worked 13 years as a Surgery Nurse at St. Johns Hospital in Anderson, 13 years at Community Hospital, and 10 years at Winona Hospital in Indianapolis. She was the first nurse hired at Community Hospital in 1962. Helen was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville, Past President of A.O.R.N., and she taught students operating room technique at St. Johns and Community Hospital. She and her husband, Bill, were in the antique business for 25 years.
She is survived by sons, Mark Ruggles & Doug Ruggles; grandchildren, Bryce and Andrew Ruggles, Shane Ruggles & Jo Anna Ruggles; brother, John Kintz; and sisters, Marjorie Schultz, Ruth Bahler, Berniece Hackman, Isabelle Gamble & Patricia Daniels.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Bill Ruggles; sisters, Delores Read & Mary Alice Whitright; and brothers, Bill Kintz & Daniel Kintz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 2, 2013, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, in Noblesville. Visitation will be Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
