Helena L. Heinzman, 72, of Algood, TN, formerly of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at her home. She was born on June 1, 1940 to Harley and Genevieve (Kress) Lucas in Lewis Township, Indiana.
Helena managed the cafeteria of Stony Creek Elementary in Noblesville for 23 years. She was a long time member of First Church of the Nazarene in Noblesville prior to moving to Tennessee in 1996, where she then became a member of the Cookeville Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William 'Bill' C. Heinzman; daughter, JoAnna (Aaron) Champley of Arcadia, IN; son, Steven C. Heinzman of Algood, TN; grandchildren, Ashley Champley and Steve Hall of Rossville, IN; Aaron Michael Champley of Arcadia, IN; great-grandchildren, Steven James Hall, Blaine Davidson Hall, and Alyson Nikole Hall; plus step great-grandson, Kamdin Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at First Church of the Nazarene, 1399 Greenfield Avenue, in Noblesville, with visitation at the church from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Rev. Robert Donham will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
