Hilda Hinshaw Holland

Hilda Hinshaw Holland, 92, died peacefully in her daughter's home on January 19, 2009. She was born in Kennard, IN (Henry County) on October 16, 1916 to Blanche (Hardin) and Russell Hinshaw. Hilda was a graduate of Kennard High School.
Hilda was first married to Donald L. Fisher, and she later married John L. Holland. Both preceded her in death. Hilda was also preceded in death by her brother Ralph Hinshaw of Frankfort, IN and her sister Vivian Rogers of Pendleton, IN.
Hilda was employed by Delco Remy, Riverview Hospital, Kenley's Grocery, Kirk Hardware and Best Lock.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Fisher (Charles) Holland; a step-son Wayne (Shirley) Holland; grandchildren Heather and Michael (Zita); a great-grandson John; her sister-in-law Hilda Hinshaw; and several nieces and nephews.
Hilda was a member of Refuge Christian Church in Noblesville. She loved spending time with her family and friends, playing bingo and eating at her favorite restaurant, Jim Dandy.
Services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2009 at 11:00AM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Friends and family will gather for a visitation on Thursday, January 22, from 4 to 8PM at the funeral home.
