Hobert Webb, 73, of Fishers, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born on September 7, 1941 to Russell and Adeline (Stepp) Webb in Inez, Kentucky.
Hobert had worked in sales for Unisys, before becoming the owner of Syd's Restaurant in Noblesville, where he retired. He was a 1966 graduate of Eastern Kentucky State College, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force; was a former member of the Shriners; and was an avid golfer.
He is survived by a son, Brian (Dawn) Webb; daughter, Patricia (Tom) Byrd; grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, David, Kyle, and Christopher; and sister, Frances Fraley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine H. Webb; and brother, Homer Webb.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers. An additional visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, KY. Services will be held at Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 19, 2015. Burial will be at Fraley & Webb Cemetery in Inez, KY.
