Howard Buis

Howard Albin Buis, 88, of Noblesville, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011. Howard was born Aug 3, 1922 in Greencastle, the son of Eddie and Rachel (Albin) Buis.
Howard retired from DA Lubricants in 1993 after 28 years of service. He was an Army Air Force veteran of WWII. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, American Legion Post #44, the Million Dollar Sales Club of DA Lubricants, and was a founding member of the Greencastle Chamber of Commerce.
Howard is survived by his wife, Celia (Saunders) Buis; children, Julia Ertel (Gary), Patricia Berry (Jerry), John Buis (Christy), Carolyn Crawley (Gene), Edward Buis (Nancy), Theresa Abbott (Chuck), Anne White (Jim), Lisa Spencer (Tom) and Christine Hummel (Steve). Forty-five grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren also survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, Noblesville, IN 46060, where friends may call from 9:00 AM until service time. Entombment will be In Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Indianapolis at 2:00 PM.
