Inez Cox, 79, loving wife, mother, and Mammaw, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. She was born on December 28, 1936 to the late Arthur and Ruby (McPherson) Campbell in Lee County, Virginia.
Inez was a 1955 graduate of Noblesville High School, and for 36 years worked as a legal secretary for Church, Church, Hittle & Antrim. She was a member of Refuge Christian Church and Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Inez volunteered at Riverview Hospital for 18 years, and worked part-time after retirement for the Hamilton County Judicial Center.
She is survived by her husband, James L. Cox; daughters, Nanette (husband James) Conley of Montana, and Karla (husband Steve) Lundin of California; son, Jason Cox (Roxanne) of Noblesville; four granddaughters, Jamie & Kelsey VanHorn, Aubrey Butte, and Jillian Cox; sister, Betty Lou Watts of Texas; and brother, Arb Campbell of Arizona.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on April 17, 2016 at Refuge Christian Church, 11772 East 196th Street, in Noblesville. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a future date.
