Inger Whitt
Inger A. Whitt, 88, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born on August 24, 1925 to Kjartan and Marie (Abild) Kristjonsson in Brooklyn, New York.
Inger had been a civil service employee in Fort Sill, OK for over 20 years. She grew up in Brooklyn, NY and was very proud of her Scandinavian heritage. She was widowed at a young age, and raised her four children in Oklahoma after her husband died. She liked knitting, photography and being outdoors.
She is survived by daughters, Elvina (Darryl) Beals and Katarinna Breame; sons, Jim (Teresa) Whitt and Carroll Whitt; and several grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll E. Whitt.
The family has chosen cremation. No services are scheduled at this time.
