Isla F. Ecker, 90, of Noblesville, Indiana, formerly of Farmington, Michigan, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Riverview Health in Noblesville, Indiana. She was born on April 25, 1930 to Clarence and Zella (McLane) Bourne on Harsens Island, Michigan.
Isla was very involved in her church, Farmington First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and doing puzzles. Isla also loved to bowl. She was an avid card player, especially Euchre, Pinochle, and Uno that she loved playing with her grandsons.
Isla is survived by her son, Dennis J. (Shelia) Ecker; daughter, Elaine (Doug) Billingsley; grandsons, James Ecker and Jacob Ecker; nieces, Karen (Neil) Reinhout and Karol (Al) Flores; nephew, Keith (Barbara) Gibbs; niece-in-law, Debbie Gibbs; as well as several great-nieces & great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Ecker Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Donald Gibbs; and her nephew, Kenneth Gibbs.
Private family services will be held with burial at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
