Jack E. Demaree, 85, of Noblesville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at his home. He was born on January 8, 1934 to George and Beulah (Watts) Demaree in Boone County, Indiana.
Jack was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for Navistar for over 37 years before retiring in 1991. He was a very practical man and an extremely hard worker. Jack and Bernice built their family home together in 1964, where they still live to this day. Most of all, Jack was a sterling husband, wonderful father, and a playful grandfather who was dedicated to his family. He loved music, being with his family, playing the organ, and traveling.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bernice Demaree; daughters, Brenda Gail DeHaven, Debra Lynn Walton and Tresha Kay Shelton; brother, Ronald Demaree; sister, Myrna Rodriguez; and bonus sister, Mary Calvert; grandchildren, Adam Payne, Abigail Gangler, Julie Alvarado, Melissa Mitchell, Melanie Ricketts, Melinda Trottier, Sarah Ricketts, and Jacob DeHaven; and great-grandchildren, Marley & Lila Gangler.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Myron Demaree; and great-granddaughter, Eloise.
Services will be held at Legacy Bible Church in Noblesville, IN on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Keith Kunda officiating. Visitation will be from Noon to the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
