Jacob Alexander Gooding, 26, of Noblesville, went to Heaven to be with Jesus on Monday, September 19, 2016.
Jacob had a contagious smile and a sense of humor (and candor) that everyone immediately noticed. Jacob loved NASCAR, the Broncos, Bradford Woods camp, traveling, and his service dog, McCovey. Jacob's travels included meeting Jeff Gordon on a Make-A-Wish trip, touring the Harley factory in Pennsylvania, visiting the I-80 truck stop, and most recently getting his kicks on Route 66.
Jacob especially loved working at the White River Christian Church Food Pantry and church office. He also took pride in working at the Ram Restaurant. Jacob knew where his eternity was, is fully healed, and "didn't mind going to Heaven". Today, there is rejoicing in Heaven.
He is survived by his mother, Toni (Lands) Gooding; father, Rich (Dawn) Gooding; step-sister, Brooke (Andrew) Altshul; maternal grandfather, Lawrence Lands; paternal grandparents, Jack Gooding and Betty Gooding; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews & friends; and his service dog, McCovey.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Betty Lands.
While his surviving family and friends will so miss him, they look forward to reuniting in Heaven.
