Jacqueline Burns

Jacqueline (Goforth) Burns, 68, of Arcadia, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born on July 25, 1944, to O.S. and Mabel (Combs) Goforth in Middlesboro, Kentucky.
Jacqueline was a homemaker and had also worked for Americana Health Network & Wheaton Van Lines. She was a member of Delta Sigma Kappa; a member and past-president of the Noblesville Lady Elks; and was active in the PTO when her children were young. She loved being a wife, mother & grandmother and was very good at all three things. She was very fashionable and was an avid shopper. She loved her time at their residence in Naples, FL; and was affiliated with the First Baptist Church in Ewing, VA. Jacqueline always talked truthfully, lived morally and acted kindly.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Burns; daughters, Valerie Smith Miklozek (Michael) & Kimi Smith Fisher (Eric); brother, Danny Goforth; step-son, S. Andrew Burns (Jennifer); step-daughter, Katy Burns Allen (Eric); and grandchildren, Kati Elizabeth Fisher, John Walter Fisher, Samuel Burns, Elizabeth Burns, Caroline Burns, Margaret Allen, Finley Allen & Weezy Allen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Goforth & Charles Goforth; and her beloved sister, Rosanna Cavin.
Services and burial will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery, 4180 Westfield Rd, in Westfield, with Rev. Richard D. Bell officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, prior to the service.
