James A. Bostic

James A. Bostic, 77, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Wellbrooke of Westfield.  He was born on June 1, 1946 to Robert and June (Gilchrist) Bostic in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Jim graduated in 1964 from Arsenal Technical High School where he played basketball and baseball for all his 4 years there.  He worked for O.O. McKinley Company from 1966-1977 where he started as a draftsman and eventually became sales manager.  In 1977, Jim became an independent manufacturer's rep initially with R.L. Shaffner & Associates and then with Spohn Associates.  He was an avid golfer at Pebble Brook Golf Club and loved his role as one of the Starter/Rangers. 

Jim is survived by his wife, Myrna Melchior; sons, Jeff (Melissa) Bostic and Mike (Gina) Bostic; grandchildren, Sam, Charlie, Emerson, Michael, Brody, and Kennedy; step-children, Sheathera, Shanna, and Justin; brother, Bob (Sandy) Bostic; and his sister, Nancy (Steve) Althoff.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Bostic.
