James C. Bryant, 82, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville. He was born on September 21, 1928 to William and Nellie (Caylor) Bryant in Noblesville, Indiana.
James worked as a Truck Driver for various companies hauling grain. He had also worked for Noblesville Public Schools as a mechanic at the bus garage.
He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Noblesville.
One of James greatest pleasures was to sit on his front porch swing and wave and greet everyone that passed by their Christian Avenue home.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty I. (Sells) Bryant; seven children: Mike (Nancy) Bryant, Sharon Bryant, Tammy Bryant, Judy Bankston, Bill Bryant, Richard Bryant and Teresa Glover; two sisters: Mary Hudson and Iva King; 15 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Beulah Hudson, and four brothers: Ralph, Alan, Lloyd and Bill Bryant.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 29, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with the Pastor Curtis Wyatt officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
