James K. Geary Jr.

James K. Geary Jr., 93, of Fishers, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at his home. He was born on April 29, 1931 to James and Margaret (Catlin) Geary in Troy, New York.

In 1952, Jim married Carole Farnham and celebrated 71 years of marriage. He proudly served his country for 4 years in the United States Air Force and later spent many years working in commercial laundry. Jim was president of the Indiana Dry Cleaning & Laundry Association. 

He is survived by his wife, Carole Geary; brother, Jerome (Elise) Geary; children, James (Amanda) Geary, Cindy Stewart, and Kevin (Cara) Geary; grandchildren, Kim (Bill) Heffner, Matt O'Connell, Jeff (Francis) O'Connell, Kate O'Connell, David Stewart, Leigh Ann Stewart, Christian Geary, Antonio Geary, Angelina Geary, and Zack Geary; and his great-grandchildren, Aidan Heffner, Morgan Heffner, Brady O'Connell, Averie Kelly, Amelia VanPatten, Stormy Stewart-Merriweather, and Ivan Diaz.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra O'Connell; son-in-law, Dave Stewart; brothers, John and Joseph; and his sister, Mildred.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with Mass at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, 11441 Hague Road, in Fishers.
