James "Jim" Gleason

James F. "Jim" Gleason, 68, of Fishers, ended his battle with pancreatic cancer peacefully on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at home with his wife, Alice, by his side. He was born on November 11, 1944 to Robert and Eileen (Riley) Gleason in Long Island, New York.
Jim was the former co-owner of Fairway Management, along with his partner, Rich McGrath. He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish at Geist Catholic Church in Fishers.
He is survived by wife, Alice Gleason; daughters, Kerry Thomas (Daniel), Colleen Simon (Eric), Courtney Gleason, Meghan Sanchez (Miguel) & Jamie Gleason; sisters; Mona Borland (Bob) & Gail Porrello (Lou); and grandchildren, Matthew Thomas, Ryan Thomas, Jessica Simon, Jason Simon, Gisele Sanchez & Harper Sanchez.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Laurie Allen; and brother, Robert Gleason.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Holy Spirit Parish at Geist Catholic Church, 10350 Glaser Way, Fishers, with Father Phil Bowers officiating. Visitation will be Monday, December 17, 2012, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made, in his memory, to Riley Children's Foundation-Cancer Center, 30 S Meridian Street, Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46204, or at rileykids.org.
