James Glover

James Albert Glover, 71, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born on June 13, 1943 to Donald and Marjorie (Abel) Glover in Indianapolis, Indiana.
James proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a Noblesville Police Officer, retiring after 25 years, and was a Noblesville City Court Bailiff for 14 years. He was a member of Hamilton County FOP Lodge #103, and loved to bowl & fish. James loved his grandchildren, his friends, and life.
He is survived by his wife, Joann Glover; daughters, Debbie Glover, Lisa Glover, and Tina (Jayson) Williams; son, Jerry (Alicia) Powell Jr.; seven grandchildren, Hayley & Jayden Williams, Garth & Brenna Powell, Brice & Baylee, and Michael Waymon; one great-grandchild, Noah Waymon; two brothers, Jack (Patty) Glover, and Don (Jane) Glover; and two brothers- and sisters-in-law, Danny & Judy Weaver, and Harry & Shirley Smith.
James was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 23, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with Chaplain Dave Nicholson officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cicero Cemetery.

Funeral Service

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 23, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with Chaplain Dave Nicholson officiating.

Visitation

Visitation will be Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Interment

Burial will be at Cicero Cemetery.
