James Bruce Loveless, 78, of Cicero, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on January 21, 1933 to Earl and Mary (Cavanaugh) Loveless in Lafayette, Indiana.
James graduated from Jefferson High School, Lafayette, Indiana, in 1951. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in the Korean War. He worked as a Truck Driver for Allied Van Lines retiring in 1993. He was a member of American Legion #45, Noblesville; Lafayette Eagles, and Lafayette Moose Lodge. He was also a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Cicero, Indiana.
He is survived by daughter, Jami L. Feldt of Lafayette, Indiana; daughter, Karen G. Morgan of Taswell, Indiana; daughter, Dani Flores of Littleton, Colorado; son, Stephen P. Loveless of Tampa, Florida; and daughter, Shawndel L. Burton of Fredericksburg, Virginia; nine grandchildren: Rickie Feldt, Christie A. Reitz, Fallon Remaly, Erin Blanchard, Ronald Chissoe, Kevin Blanchard, Dakota Chissoe, Rhiannah Burton, and Natasha Burton; plus four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife and mother of his children, Sheila M. Loveless, of Battleground, Indiana; and later in life, his 2nd wife, Roxie G. (Swick) Loveless in 2002; two brothers, Joseph Loveless, and Floyd Loveless; two sisters, LaJusta Jones, and Mary Ruth Phipps; and a son, Michael A. Loveless.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00AM, Thursday, February 17, 2011, at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 390 S. Pearl Street, Cicero, Indiana, with Rev. W. Michael Kettron officiating. Burial will follow at Cicero Cemetery.
