Jan M. Robinson

Jan M. Robinson, 70, Noblesville, passed away Friday, June 26, 2009 at St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born June 18, 1939 in Marion County, Indiana. He was the son of Glen R. and Kathleen (Eudaly) Robinson. His father preceeds him in death.
Jan retired from Firestone in 1999, where he had been a night foreman. He had been a standout basketball player for Noblesville High School, playing on the 1957 team that went to semi-state. He had also coached youth baseball, basketball, and football. His grandchildren were his life; and he loved gardening and the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Harlow) Robinson of Noblesville; mother, Kathleen Robinson of Noblesville; daughter, Deborah Robinson of Huntington, IN; sons, Michael (& Cindy) Robinson of Indianapolis and Jeffrey (& fiancee Brenna Rinaldi) Robinson of Adrian, MI; brother, Glen E. (& Henrietta) Robinson of Washington, IN; sister, Tanna Voss of Noblesville; sister-in-law & husband, Carolyn (& Marvin) Brandon of Akron, CO; five grandchildren, Jessica, Christopher, Katie, Ashley & Bryleigh; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
Services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, July 3, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Friends may call Thursday, July 2, 4:00 - 8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
