Jane Teresa Story

Jane Teresa Story, 74, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024 at  in Noblesville.  She was born on May 16, 1950 in Lee County, Virginia, the beloved daughter of  Virgil and Estelle Stevens and cherished sister of Karen Humphrey and Janice Stevens. 

Jane devoted her life to her family, pouring her love and energy into raising her two daughters, Carrie Elaine Story and Jennifer Brooke Story. The true joys of her life were her grandchildren-Aiden, Ava, and Austin-whom she lovingly cared for throughout their childhoods. The bond she shared with them was extraordinarily special and unforgettable. 

She leaves behind her devoted husband of 54 years, Robert Glen Story. Although Jane and Glen were quiet and private individuals, their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership. They shared a beautiful life together, marked by mutual respect and unwavering support, and their home in Noblesville was a place of warmth and happiness. 

Jane was an exceptional mother, an immaculate homemaker, and a role model to all who knew her. Her integrity, kindness, and dedication made her irreplaceable. Jane's legacy is one of love, strength, and steadfast devotion to her family. 

She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. 

Private family services will be held with burial at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
