Janet Barker

Janet R. Barker, 74, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. She was born on October 12, 1938 to Herbert and Helen (Thorton) Wilson in Frankfort, Indiana.
Janet worked as a supervisor at Ft. Benjamin Harrison Finance Center for 33 years before retiring in 1994, and was a graduate of Frankfort high school. She enjoyed watching Nascar, especially Dale Earnhardt Jr., and the Indianapolis Colts. Her life revolved around her family, and she loved her grandchildren dearly.
She is survived by her daughter, Teri (Gary) Barker-Swinford; son, Larry "Rick" (Susan) Barker; grandchildren, Carissa Garrison, Ashley Bish, Larry Barker II, Gary Swinford Jr.; one sister; one brother; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Brad Barker-Swinford; one brother and two sisters.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Richard D. Bell officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 16, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
