Janie L. Morrison

Janie L. Morrison, 78, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at her home. She was born to Maxine McConnell on February 10, 1946 in Pennington Gap, Virginia.

Janie was a homemaker and enjoyed being a mom. She liked collecting Beanie Babies, Barbies, and Hallmark ornaments. Janie loved animals and her babies. She is dancing in Heaven as she rejoices being with her Savior. 

She is survived by her children, Sherri Lynne Mitchell, Douglas Alan (Mary Beth) Morrison, and Jeffrey Wayne (April Marie) Morrison; 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and brother, Gary McConnell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Morrison; daughter, Laura Sue Morrison; and brothers, Don Poteet and Buddy McConnell.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to the time of service at the funeral home.
