JB Jennings, 90, of Fishers, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at his home. He was born on June 6, 1926 to Harold and Doris (Holmes) Jennings in Jacksonville, Florida.
JB graduated from Kenmore High School in Buffalo, NY in 1944, and proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He earned a B.A. in Business from Indiana University in 1950, and for 35 years worked as a Quality Control Manager for Eli Lilly, retiring in 1984. JB was a member of Fishers United Methodist Church, Hamilton Lodge No. 533 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, Indianapolis Murat Shrine, and Broad Ripple Sertoma Club. He enjoyed watching and keeping current with the New York Stock Exchange, playing golf, reading, and traveling the world with his wife. JB also loved people and enjoyed watching IU Football and the Army/Navy Football game.
He is survived by his daughter, Carol (Ralph) Campbell; two grandchildren, Laura King and Matt (Christene) Campbell; two great-grandchildren, Alaina King and Easton Campbell; brother, Alan (Susan) Jennings; and a niece, Susan (Mitch) Singer. In addition to his parents, JB was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Bryant Jennings in 2008.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers, with visitation from 11:00 am to the time of service. Entombment will take place at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Indianapolis.
