Jean Kumming

Jean Kumming, 92, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Forum at the Crossing in Indianapolis.  She was born on August 26, 1924 to John and Lucy (Proctor) Robertson in Spencer, Indiana.
Jean worked as an engineering clerk for Indiana Bell, retiring in 1983.  She was a member of Cyntheanne Christian Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Pioneers of America, and the Knitting Club at the Forum at the Crossing.  Jean was a huge Indiana Pacers fan; she and her husband, Carl, were season ticket holders of the ABA Pacers 50 years ago.  Jean was also a Chicago Cubs fan, loved to knit and square dance, and enjoyed talking to people to get to know them.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Kumming; son, Gary (Debra) Kumming; three grandchildren, Alanna Kumming, Logan Kumming, and Christa Kumming; as well as several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Kumming in 2016; and her sister, Myra Cumbee.
Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers, with visitation from 4:00 pm to the time of service.  Rev. Larry J. Renihan will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cyntheanne Christian Church, 13151 Cyntheanne Road, Fishers, IN 46037.
