Jean H. Whitmoyer, 92, of Fishers, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born on July 20, 1921 to Howard and Nina (Osborne) Harvey in Hamilton County, Indiana.
Jean received her Masters of Education degree from Butler University and had taught at Hamilton Southeastern Schools for 20 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Noblesville.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen (William "Bill") Brin and Lucinda "Cindy" Dierdorf; brothers, Jim Harvey and Alan Kay (Sharon) Harvey; grandchildren, David Brin, Darin Brin, Katie Thomson, Michael Dierdorf, and Andrew Dierdorf; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max A. Whitmoyer; and sister, Hester Stewart.
Services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers. Visitation will be Friday, April 11, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Westfield.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Education Fund, 2051 Monument Street, Noblesville, IN 46060.
