Jeraldine Furr

Jeraldine Lou (Buckner) Furr, 87, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born on October 23, 1925 to William and Jessie (Roof) Buckner in Bluffton, Indiana.
Jeraldine was a retired elementary school teacher; having taught for eight years in the Indianapolis Public School System, and then at Conner School in Noblesville for the remainder of her career. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Noblesville, Tri Kappa Sorority and Riverview Hospital Auxiliary; and also volunteered at Riverview Hospital in Noblesivllle. She loved to read and play Bridge.
She is survived by daughters, Jan (Gary) Leonard and Mandy (Steve) Cody; son, Jef Furr; two grandchildren, Abigail & Andrew Leonard; and three sisters, Judy, Joyce & Janelle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Robert Furr who passed away in 2011.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am immediately prior to the service. Rev. Jack Wolfe will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
