Jerry Lee Kirkpatrick

Jerry L. Kirkpatrick, 76, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at his home.  He was born on January 23, 1941 to the late Quentin and Kathryn (Haupert) Kirkpatrick in Anderson, Indiana.
Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a helicopter mechanic, where he also test-flew them as part of their repair.  In his younger years, Jerry farmed trees and crops.  For most of his life, he was a landscape designer who owned Kirk's Landscaping, Garden Shop & Nursery; his sister, Joanne, worked with him for over 25 years.  Jerry was a hard worker who loved the outdoors and loved people, and could frequently been seen eating at Jim Dandy Restaurant.
He is survived by his sister, Joanne Kirkpatrick; brother, BR (Margo) Kirkpatrick; nieces, Annette (Randy) Ibey, Cindy (Doug) Dowling, and Polly (Tom) Priddy; nephew, Carl Kirkpatrick; as well as six great-nieces & -nephews.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with visitation from 12:00 Noon to the time of service.  Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate.  Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Fishers.
