Jerry Roger Robinette, Sr., 78, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2019. He was born in Pennington Gap, VA on November 7, 1940 to the late Ida Maude and Gene Robinette.
Jerry was “Jack of all trades.” He worked at Firestone in Noblesville, upholstered cars, customized motorcycle seats and accessories, built custom homes, landscaped, and owned a tree farm before retiring a few years ago. He enjoyed speed as he raced stock cars, motorcycles, and go-karts.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Betty (Cleusman) Robinette; daughter, Shannon Bryant; grandsons, Levi (Megan) Falin, Blake Mullins, and Spencer Mullins; great-grandsons, Luke and Matthew Falin; great-granddaughter, Sophia Mullins; 2 sisters, Ann Young and Gail (Dennis) Bennett; and best friend, Darrell Cluesman.
He is preceded in death by a son, “Jerry” Roger Robinette, Jr.; brother, Gene Robinette; and sister, Brenda Stallcup.
A memorial service will be Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm, at Pleasant View Baptist Church on 11th and Pleasant Streets in Noblesville. Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes of Noblesville has been entrusted with Jerry's care.
