Jimmie H Lewis, 69, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born on February 4, 1948 to Charles E and Hazel E (Chambers) Lewis in Virginia.
Jimmy had been a fabrication engineer designer for Carter Enterprises. He proudly served his country as with the U.S. Army Infantry, where he was a Sergeant and a Vietnam War veteran. He enjoyed playing golf, but his greatest love was for his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Lewis; sister, Denise (Steve) Coverdale; two grandsons, Brett & Chad Colbert; and nieces & nephews, Deborah Harber, Jerome Dean, Kristofer Lewis, Josh Lewis, and Jake & Luke Coverdale.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Lewis; sister, Virginia Charlene Carter; grandmother, Edith Chambers; and uncle, Vernon Sizemore.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm. Rev. Richard D. Bell will officiate.
