Jimmie "Neal" Vandiver

Jimmie 'Neal' Vandiver, 84, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born on November 5, 1928 to Walter and Sarah (Clements) Vandiver in Chester County,Tennessee.
Neal had been an inspector for Firestone for 30 years; and had also been a farmer, where he bought, sold and assisted in the care of farm animals. He was a member of the Firestone Association and was a beekeeper.
He is survived by daughter, Elizabeth 'Beth' (John) Culp; son, Harry (Patty) Vandiver; grandchildren, Aaron (Cara) Culp, Stephanie Culp, Sheri (Bill) Landers, Dwayne (Robin) Vandiver, Debbie (Vince) Duvall & Jennifer Vandiver; and great-grandchildren, John Michael Culp, Maeve Shannon Landers, John Paul Dell, David Michael Dell, Blake Edward Vandiver & Zachery Allen Vandiver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary R. Vandiver; brother & sisters, Henry Vandiver, May Spencer & Alline McKenzie; and a grandchild, Michael Culp.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Richard D. Bell officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 2, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
