Joan "Joni" Birkla

Joan "Joni" Elaine Birkla, 63, of Fishers, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born on February 18, 1947 in Indianapolis.
Joni was a realtor for Carpenter Realty Group. She also been an apartment manager for many years; and was a membor of M.I.B.O.R.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Birkla of Fishers; son, Danny Coplea of Indianapolis; mother, Sandy Butler of Winamac; two sisters, Dawn Vanaman & Dana Fields; and two brothers, Dan Vanaman & Chie Kramer.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Butler; and two sisters, Carol Marcum & Jill Wilcher.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, January 24, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM prior to the service. Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate.
