Joan Roudebush Brooks, 87, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born on June 29, 1924 to Ralph and Frances (Ennis) Lennen in Clarksville, Indiana.
Joan was a partner and a bookkeeper for Roudebush Equipment in Westfield. She had also been employed at the Hamilton County Clerk's Office and the Noblesville License Branch.
She was a member of Noblesville & Westfield Methodist Churches; Delta Theta Tau & Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by her husband, Lyman Brooks, whom she married in 1982; five sons: Steve (Sharon) Roudebush, Greg Roudebush, Jeff (Reita) Roudebush, Martin Roudebush and John Brooks; two daughters: Joane (Mike) Hill, and Sharon (Mick) Jackson; 21 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl G. Roudebush who died in 1973, and a brother, John Robert Lennen.
A Graveside Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Crownland Cemetery, 1776 Monument Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Eric Lohe officiating.
