Joan A. Mitchell

Joan A. Mitchell, 85, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. She was born on January 26, 1930 to Ora and Gertrude (Collier) Stewart in Martinsville, Indiana.
Joan was retired from Deluxe Check Printers after 31 years of service. She was a member of the Signa Corp German Club Choir in Indianapolis, and enjoyed quilting, crocheting and making stained glass.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheila A. (Mike) McLane; her son, Rick Stanley; grandchildren, Susie Steele, Todd Stanley and Cameron McLane; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Mitchell who passed away in 1994; grandson, Mike McLane II in 2001; two brothers; and seven sisters.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am prior to the service. Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate. Burial will be at South Park Cemetery in Martinsville.
