Joan Margaret Swinford, 86, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at home. She was born on May 9, 1925 to Elmer and Fannie (Coverdale) Wiles in Hamilton County, Indiana.
Joan had worked as a custodian for the Hamilton Southeastern Schools before she retired. She was a member of the Noblesville Moose Lodge and the Alexandria Eagles Lodge.
She is survived by one son, Rick Swinford; two daughters, Carolyn Sue Keller and Tina Jakes; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Swinford in 2001; son, Danny Swinford in 1977; and two grandchildren
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon prior to the service. Pastor Curt Walters will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
