John Brian Weber, 63, of Pendleton, IN, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2024. He courageously lived with cancer and did not let it diminish his love for life. He enjoyed entertaining family and friends and took great pride in his food preparation on the classic Weber grill. John was famous for the many years of chili parties he hosted and the secret recipe he concocted.
Born on October 23, 1960 in South Bend, IN to Denny and Nancy (Cleghorn) Weber, John was a graduate of James Whitcomb Riley High School. John furthered his education with degrees from Indiana University (B.S.) and Ohio State (M.B.A.). He had a long and successful career in corporate banking in Columbus, OH, and Chicago, IL. While living in Naperville, IL, John was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church where he served in the music ministry and the Knights of Columbus. After moving back to Indiana, he became a member of Noblesville First United Methodist Church.
John was married to Karen Tovell Weber until her death in 2020. They were blessed with their only child, Paige Weber. On October 28, 2022, John married his college sweetheart, Janet Logan. John was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. Family was a cornerstone for his life. John will be remembered for his kind, caring spirit, curious nature, and joyous approach to life.
John is survived by his wife, Janet Logan; daughter, Paige Weber (Paul Picinich); father, Denny Weber; brother, Neal (Monica) Weber; and niece Natalie (Nate) Piggish.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Weber, and his first wife, Karen Weber.
