Joseph H. Judge, 90, of Westfield, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the age of 90. Joe was born in Kennard, IN on April 4, 1923, to Garrett and Harriett (Hardin) Judge.
Joe was the Founder of Hoosier Stockyards, Inc., selling the business and retiring in 1992. A graduate of Purdue University, he was a member of Carmel Friends Church, Carmel Masonic Lodge and Indianapolis Scottish Rite. For nearly 50 years, Joe and his wife, Lova, owned, bred and showed Arabian horses. They were his passion.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lova Moore Judge of Westfield; children, Cheryl (William) Wendling of Carmel, Doug (Barbara) Judge of Westfield and Brent (Joyce) Judge of Lapel; grandchildren, Kellie & Kyle Wendling, Broderic & Boden Judge; and his brother, Max Judge of Hilton Head Island, SC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joanne Judge.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday, April 11 at Randall and Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with calling from 1:00PM until time of service.
