Joseph William "Joe" McDaniel

Joe McDaniel, 91, of Zionsville, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.
Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army, and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. For 33 years, he was a supervisor at Western Electric Corporation, retiring in 1979. Joe lived to play golf, and scored 10 holes-in-one. He was club champion at several local country clubs; his true passion was golf. Joe was a loving and compassionate caregiver for his wife, Laura, especially during the last four years of her life; and loved & adored his grandchildren.
He is survived by his son, Bill (Mary Kay) McDaniel; grandchildren, Molly & Maggy McDaniel; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death in 2008 by his wife, Laura McDaniel; and sisters, Charlotte List and Rosemary Tyler.
Services will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation 12:30 pm to the time of service. Rev. Tom Metzger will officiate.
