Joseph Pankowski

Joseph Francis Pankowski, aged 97, passed away on September 23, 2010. Born in Chicago, Illinois on March 12, 1913, beloved son of Josephine (Hintz) and Stanley Pankowski, husband of the late Lottie Pankowski, beloved father of Arlene (Dan) Gregorich, Joyce (Ron) Matula, and Sylvia (the late Lawrence) Hughes; grandfather to Gloria, Dorene, Joe, Danny and Jonathan Gregorich; Debra Matula; Lorene, Larry and Michael Hughes and great-grandfather to 28 and great-great-grandfather to 4. Joseph was an inventor, electrician, carpenter, and role model to all. He will be greatly missed. Private services and burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Noblesville, Indiana. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Maple Park Village and the St. Vincent Hospice team.
