Joseph R. Schreiner

Joseph R. Schreiner, 64, of Noblesville, passed away February 28, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Houston, Texas to Joseph Balson and Kathleen (Craig) Schreiner on September 27, 1958. 

Joseph's life-long passion was music. His knowledge and ambition in that realm led to many years on the road playing for crowds across the United States. His life on stage led him to meeting the love of his life, LeAnn, marriage, and eventually to having their son, Jacob. 

His focus turning to family, Joseph strived endlessly to be the best husband and father possible. The type to never miss his son's baseball games, or support his loved ones, his priorities were never in question. His second career led him into insurance where he owned and operated Hunter Insurance of Sheridan for nearly twenty years. An early retirement led to him enjoying the peacefulness of rural Indiana for the last several years. 

He is survived by his wife and son, as well as brother Mike Schreiner; sisters Jeanette Vanausdall and Donna Pauley; and mother-in-law, Sandra Shook. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; step-father, Donald Schreiner; and father-in-law, Robert Shook.  

The Schreiner Family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Home with Joseph's care.
