Josephine Brown

Josephine G. Brown, 89, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Riverwalk Commons in Noblesville. She was born on October 25, 1924 in Savannah, GA. Jo married Robert 'Bob' Brown in 1947, and they were happily married for 64 years.
Josephine had worked for College Life Insurance Company prior to her retirement. She was a member of Cicero United Methodist Church, where she as active in the Women's Circle, many Bible studies, and also taught Sunday School. She enjoyed reading the Bible; was an avid Bridge player, and belonged to many Bridge clubs.
She is survived by sons, Michael (Debra) Brown and Dennis (Bonnie) Brown; daughter, Suzanne (Kevin) Logan; grandchildren, Angela, Brandi, Amanda, Kevin, Chauntel & Xan; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Lewis E. Willis; and her husband, Robert A. Brown.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Cicero United Methodist Church, 100 E. Jackson Street, in Cicero, with visitation beginning at 9:00 am immediately prior to the service. Rev. Byron Fritz will officiate. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cicero United Methodist Church.
